Coursera: Learn career skills App Reviews

I recommend any course offered by Coursera because their commitment to high quality education and organization of the courses.

Two things I hate about this app. And that makes it terrible, but if they fix it it will make it the best of the best apps out there for a teaching platform. 01) Does not have the 10 second delay button: Netflix, AV player and Apple TV, all have grown to note the importance of this option on their app to have, and they have added this capability to their apps, yet the coursera app of all of them, made to teach, doesnt have it. Thats a shame to say the least... 02) It doesnt remember where u were on the video file when you left off, if you were watching a video, it doesnt remember it when you go back to it if you will, lets say your phone is on an auto-lock mode, (mine is set to 01 minute, for security reasons.), if your phone closes out on you to the resting screen while youre watching something, the coursera app doesnt remember where you left off...And when you try to move the slider with your fingers to the point where you left off on the video file, it over shoots it...So you have to watch it just to get to the point where left off when all of this happened, so you wast so much time on this, its terrible, Netflix, Apple TV, AVplayer All have that option. I am from Recife in Brasil South America, ophthalmologist medical doctor, and I think this app has a lot of potential of it fixes it.

The content is incredible and the app is fluid and fast!

Doesnt work on my iPad Air 2... It asks for your login and doesnt do anything. However, it works fine on my iphone, but i want it on the ipad...

The best platform to learn online, easy to work even in the smartphone. You can learn everything you want with the Coursera.

A new great education channel!

While the app is fulfilling the needs of the average Coursera student (which is its purpose!), it has some kind of disappointing features, its not made to really work offline, although youre invited to download the videos beforehand, error messages keep on popping up, if you dont have access to the Internet, which makes the navigating pretty annoying. Plus once a video is started, it is quite hard to look at the list of videos without the app jumping automatically to a wide-screen mode.

I really appreciate the app and use it mostly when Im on my way to work. For that it would be great if the videos would keep playing when I turn off the display.

Offering this high level of education for free and making it available to everyone is unbelievable. Can only highly recomand and say "thank you"!

I m very happy with the content of the App, the education programs and the online support of the Coursera Team. I already achieved some certificates and i can tell you the tests for certificate are challenging

I love the app for the learning on the go.

I really like MOOCs, and especially Coursera. Its a great platform to learn all sorts of stuff on a high level. However, I dont like the tendency of more and more courses starting and staying on a very basic level. That being said, I still highly recommend it.
