I find it amazing that I get to learn from top professors at zero cost. Granted I am not going to get a certificate but thats ok for my goals. The audit feature is great for those classes that offer it.

I love the courses offered free of charge, and this app is wonderful for use in watching and downloading lectures. I do prefer to write discussion posts on my laptop, but thats just a personal preference. As some constructive criticism, please consider allowing users to turn on/off deadlines through the app. I found no way to do this on the app and actually, the mobile version of the Coursera site didnt function well enough on my phone to change the setting there, either. I had to go to the site on my laptop. So, it wouldve been easier to have a switch/slider button on the app. Please consider this, and thank you for the great app! Im happy to be able to keep up with courses on the go! :)
Really top quality content. Tracks progress well between devices. There are some minor issues with sound while streaming.
The coarse is great. Professors cool. Questions in test provocative. But the uploading answers get lost in data transfer. iPhone is my only way to do this. I hope the new format they set up in middle of coarse works better.
Nice layout, easy navigation, great functionality.
The app isnt very stable, which is frustrating when trying to complete a course. Crashes can result in sections being marked complete when you havent actually completed them. The quality of course content depends on the provider and has nothing to do with the app. The content of the course Im doing now is poor, but others might be better.
App seems to work ok on the iPhone, but is completely non-functional on the iPad. Logging in with valid credentials leaves me at the login screen, and killing and restarting leaves me with an empty "my courses" screen. Support requests go unanswered.
The app provides a nice alternative to course videos on a computer.
For anyone getting crash on launch, try restarting your iOS device. I was getting this even after reinstalling the app until I restarted the device.
So pleased to discover Coursera. Ive taken several courses and not disappointed. If you want to learn something new or brush up on your skills, try it. Lives up to its mission!
Great app and does what it needs to do
I guess for the same reason that doesnt work on the ipad. I log in, but I just see a white screen in my courses. I didnt have this problem with my previous phone (iPhone 6).
I can study everything from this app, cool!
