Really walks the talk! Must try it to get..addictive. Keep improving the App & most important the content
The app works perfectly and the quality of the courses is just more than excellent! Highly recommended! Five stars !
Coursera is a great service with an aleays growing catalogue and this app does very well its job: 5 star to both!
Cant see code from iPad
Providing access to these learning modules is an amazing offer to enable people to develop knowledge and to make progress. Unfortunately some of the assets dont appear correctly.
Nice app to attend courses. It doesnt bring anything of revolutionary, it just works properly as I want.
Very convenient, user-friendly and amazing content!
It works very well ;)
This app allows me to have course materials right at the hand wherever I am. My personal learning progress in video lectures, supplementar readings and homeworks is kept synchronized with the web interface, which is also very useful.
The app seems nice and it was easy to move around and find courses. However, there arent any free courses anymore. Most of the courses I looked at were at minimum $79. Thats for each course. If you want an entire package from a university, you could be looking at 4-6 courses at $79 per course.
I had this app a while ago and downloaded it again because it was so great then. But apparently things have changed; $80 for a course that no employer or school actually cares about? No. I would pay $20 maximum, and even that would feel a bit like highway robbery. Ill just go take a course from one of their free competitors, obviously.
Used to enjoy my experience. However, not transferable to a college is useless when you have to pay for it. They had a niche in the market and now they gave it up for a fast dollar. Could I pay for it? Of course, but it has no value to me. If Im going to pay I will attend an actual college. I was glad to donate money occasionally. But wow, not now. Hope you enjoy the profit. (One last note. Im all for capitalism, however this is a bad business set up. You flat out lied to every single one of your customers by saying that it will be free "always". Take a note from Facebook, Google and any other company that does advertising. Why not sell advertising? Your going to have people on your website for hours every day. Right? Money to be made. $$$ thats if power and money is all that you want in life) To sum up everything, Im not going to pay for it. Not one dollar. Not after you tell everybody its going to be free!
Great app, great concept, and proud that some of the top universities are engaged with certifications for completed courses. This is Indeed the future of higher learning at an affordable price. Love the fact that they use compartmentalization as a great standpoint.
My first course was MoMAs Seeing Thru Photography. Learned a great deal.
I was truly surprised to see the wide range of topics that Coursera has listed, as well as the many excellent colleges and universities offering the courses! Impressive to say the least, particularly when you can take classes for free or pay a (generally) modest fee for a certificate from the institutions involved. Not too shabby a concept, folks. Granted, free and full-featured would be very nice, but this does cost time, effort and thus money to set up properly. Maybe paid advertising as some reviewers have suggested could help?
Many topics, from beginner to advanced level. Solid mobile app.
Latest version keeps crashing on iPhone 6
Does pretty much anything you used to need the site for, in the palm of your hand! Features are great, especially on newest versions.
This app is awesome, just needed to add ability to use discussion forum inside app, without need to go to the website
